How to write great feedback
Your review helps tutors improve and also helps future learners decide if a tutor is the right fit. Great feedback is:
- Specific — mention what exactly helped you (e.g., “explained async/await clearly”).
- Constructive — if something could be improved, say it politely.
- Short — 1–3 sentences are enough.
- Honest — share your real experience, not what you think they want to hear.
Examples of good feedback
- “Great tutor! Broke down complex concepts into simple steps and checked my understanding throughout.”
- “Very patient and gave practical examples. I feel more confident continuing on my own.”
- “Helpful session, but I wish we had more structure. Maybe next time we can set goals at the start.”
When to leave feedback
You can leave feedback after any completed session. It’s optional but highly encouraged — SkillSwap grows stronger with every review.
What tutors see
Tutors see your written feedback and star rating. They do not see your internal stats, SP balance, or any private information.
